  X-Block Basics (Wish Upon a Star)

Discover the exciting new quilting adventure of the X-Blocks (TM) rotary cutting tool. This is a cool new way to cut blocks. Perfect for beginners or those that want to create a quick and easy quilt. You will make a four block quilt in class that you can enlarge if you wish.

EQ6 for Beginners

See how this quilting tool allows you to instantly play with color, designs and pattern ideas. It will rotate and mirror blocks, recolor, add sashing, figure yardage, generate accurate patterns and more, all with the click of a mouse. Please bring a laptop with EQ6 loaded and activated and a mouse and mouse pad.

Snap Happy Bag

These quick and easy bags snap closed using a metal carpenter tape measure to form a hinge.

Yes! This is a sweatshirt! The only difference here is our bottom trim is extra long, down to the knee. The simple elegance will make this the jacket you will wear time and time again.

T-Shirt Memory Quilt

Gather up 12 to 15 of your favorite t-shirts and turn them into a memory quilt that will thrill a loved one for a birthday or graduation.

Machine Applique

Master the technique of machine appliqué with the buttonhole stitch or blanket stitch. Learn all the little tricks which makes machine appliqué easier using the right thread, tension, needle and speed. You will practice inside and outside curves as well as perfecting sharp points. You will learn these techniques by making a kitchen towel.

Easy Stripe Table Runner

Approximately 16 inches by 45 inches. The EASIEST project you will ever make using a border fabric! Five seams and the top is finished! No need for binding, unless you want to add it. The magic is in the 60 degree triangle ruler! Bonus Project—with the leftover pieces we will make a table mat.

Quilter's Weave

Learn to make this stunning quilt from the new Karla Alexander book Color Shuffle that looks far more complicated than it actually is.  We will be making a wallhanging in class but you can enlarge it later if you wish.
